History

Albuquerque
• Prior to 2oo7, NMMS held all of its monthly meetings at the NM Museum of Natural History in Albuquerque.
• In 2o17, NMMS joined the Council Of Albuquerque Garden Clubs and held its Albuq meetings at the Albuquerge Garden Center through 2o23.
• At the beginning of 2o24, the NMMS Board decided to disassociate with the Albuq Garden Center, and began holding its Albuq meetings at UNM in Castetter Hall (Biology Dept) thanks to the sponsorship of Professor Lee Taylor.

Santa Fe
• In 2oo7, NMMS held its first regular Santa Fe meetings at the La Farge Library.
• In 2oo8, there was no regular Santa Fe meeting, but NMMS did hold its Summer Potluck at the Loma Encantada Clubhouse.
• In 2oo9, NMMS returned to scheduling regular meetings in Santa Fe and met at the Loma Encantada Clubhouse through 2o16.
• Since we lost use of the Loma Encantada clubhouse, it has been difficult to commit to a single venue for Santa Fe meetings, and we have met sporadically at various locations. The most recent meeting was in June of 2o25, when we met at the Friendship Club, located at 1316 Apache Ave, just north of Cerillos Road.
